This article is about the Arabic term balady. For the village in Azerbaijan, see Boladı.
Balady (Arabic: بلدي) or Baladi is an Arabic word, meaning the endemic to an area (antonyms include shami or chami, meaning "imported" "immigrant").
Some citrus species or varieties throughout the world are so named.[1][2]
Baladi is also the name of a duple meter used in Arabic music.
