I just worked my butt off cleaning this up and wikifying; I think perhaps removing the cleanup tag is premature. I tried really hard to get it more NPOV, but not being familiar with the novel really hurt me there. As you can see, the CRITICISM section has been left blank; I'd like to get at it later, as it seems to be a much-written-about novel. Please feel free to beat up on me if you feel I didn't do good-enough a job on this. Mitchell k dwyer 05:49, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

First time caller, long time listener here. I noticed a major error in the plot introduction of this page. I read the book a while ago now and I'm pretty sure that the network was confused not about the push into space, but the position of the satellites orbiting mars to supply Roger with power. I know that they couldn't be confused about the push into space since they were the ones who initiated the program to ensure their own survival in the first place. If someone would be able to (check and/or) edit the correction in it'd be appreciated! (I'd do it myself but I'm not entirely confident in my ability to stick to the editing guidlines). --Krabmeat (talk) 09:43, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
