The station plays an adult contemporary format from January through Mid-November, then an all-Christmas music format is played on the station from mid-November through December 26.

Its signal reaches east into Washington, DC, south to Luray, Virginia, west into Grantsville, Maryland, and north into Altoona, Pennsylvania, effectively covering the "Four State Area."

Prior to its' current incarnation, the station was known as WKMZ [1]. The WLTF callsign was previously used on the 106.5 MHz facility in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1982 to 1997. That station is now known as WMVX.
